Lacey Lindquist
I am a student at Saint Leo University majoring in psychology, and I hope to become a licensed clinical psychologist after graduating with a master's degree. I live with my two dogs, Leotta and Gnar. I remember watching dog training shows on animal planet as a kid, and always thinking that the trainers were so cool! To be given the opportunity to learn to train dogs myself, and turn it into a rewarding career, has been incredible. I met HannahVernah by chance during my first year of college, and immediately fell in love with her border collies. Shortly after meeting her I adopted Leotta, who was five months old at the time. Learning to train and getting to see Leotta's rapid growth has been a wonderful experience, and I cannot wait to see what she and I will achieve in the future! She is currently on track to perform agility and become a therapy dog, with a focus on working with children. My ultimate goal is to train service dogs and create a program using donations and grants to pair them with people in need for a low to no cost service dog. This would allow me to combine dog training with my desire to help people, which is why I decided to become a psychologist.

I am a current student at Tallahassee Community College working towards a degree in education, specializing in ESE. During the spring of my Freshman year, I met Hannah and adopted one of her Border Collies. Since then, I have fallen in love with dog training. This field has allowed me to step out of my comfort zone and learn new skills that I never thought I would have picked up this early in life. I have also gained new friendships and opportunities that have me up to an exciting career. I hope to be able to spread my love for dogs to our clients in the future.
